Description

The commission consists of nine members.  Their duties are among the following:
  • Advise the Mayor and City Council on all police/community relations issues
  • Conduct public outreach to educate the community on the purpose of the Commission
  • Receive, review, and investigate (through its Executive Director) complaints of alleged police employee misconduct
  • Conduct hearings and make findings to advise the Police Department in matters pertaining to police policies and practices

Meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 5:30pm in City Hall's 5th Floor Large Conference Room. Time commitment may include 18-20 hrs per month.
