The City of Riverside Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department (PRCSD) is seeking older adult volunteers interested in participating in this year’s Senior Fashion Show. An open casting call will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Dales Senior Center.  The casting call will be open from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. No experience is necessary! Model training will be held once per week during the months of January and February.

 

Individuals who wish to volunteer (committee members and models) are encouraged to complete a City of Riverside volunteer registration form and Fashion Show information fact sheet.  Registration will be conducted October 26 – November 4, 2009 at Dales Senior Center.

 

The annual Spring Fashion Show takes place on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at the La Sierra Senior Center, located at 5215 La Sierra Ave.  Residents of Riverside’s senior community will grace the stage sporting contemporary fashion trends from business attire to evening attire. Participants will have an opportunity to experience all aspects of a fashion production. The annual fashion event allows seniors to express their creativity and style, while promoting interaction among older adults in an environment that fosters community relations.
