Description
The Riverside Arts Walk takes place on the First Thursday of every month, rain or shine.  It is a free community event that celebrates the diversity of arts and culture in Riverside and the Inland Empire. Visit over 22 downtown locations, including museums, galleries and studios, presenting an eclectic mix of visual and performing arts.  And either before or after, enjoy the many entertainment, dining, and shopping experiences that Downtown Riverside has to offer.  See you there!
 
Don't miss out on the following during this month's Arts Walk:
  • Day of the Dead Exhibit at Division 9 Gallery (3848 University Ave.).
  • Works by Jesus Cruz, Jr at Division 9 Gallery South (3850 Lemon St.).
  • Mixed Media Works by Joanna Mersereau at Relish Delicatessen (3535 University Ave.).
  • Ancient Footprints of the Colorado River - Film Screening at Riverside Public Library (3581 Mission Inn Ave.).  The Inlandia Institute presents the documentary Ancient Footprints of the Colorado River by award winning filmmaker Robert Gonzales Vasquez.
  • Historic Centennial Celebration at Life Arts Center (on University Ave. and Lemon St.).  Former YMCA building is celebrating it's 100th anniversary with local dignitaries, ballet performances, Dickens Festival performances, historical presentations, music performances, along with guest speakers from the YMCA, City of Riverside and the Life Arts Center.
  • ArtWorks at 3741 Sixth St. Riverside, CA. Reincarnation Exhibit features the works of Susanne Krause, Julie Carlson, Candace Papp and Travis Helenihi. Also, small exhibition featuring found-art sculpture created by artists at the Perris Peer Support and Resource Service Center - directed by guest artist Laura Ryan. At 6pm Poetry Workshop led by writer Lydia Theon Ware. At 7pm Vocal performance by Chris Morton. At 8pm Visit to Greg Adamson's studio (People's Gallery, 3643 University Ave.) - a prolific artist, Vice President of the Arts Works' Board of Directors and recipient of the Jeffrey Adams Award for his service for the arts and mental health. Join for the unveiling of Adamson's new portrait of B.B. King that will be presented to this musical legend at a concert on November 19.
